About this cartoon: The Trump administration's meanest policy is probably the tearing apart of immigrant families. Led by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, children were snatched from their parents at the border as a "deterrent" to entering the U.S., and the children were later found to have been housed in pens or cages not unlike dog kennels. Court orders to reunite families resulted in only some families being reunited, with many cases seemingly lost in the system.
